Khajuraho Varanasi | |
Khajuraho is a historical place and Khajuraho temples are still extraordinary because they are in the centre of nowhere. Means no cities in that zone, no main roads or traffic routes come close to that is why the Muslim attackers never got round to demolish any of the tremendous statues which decorate most of the temples. All main temples of Khajuraho are covered in raunchy monuments of well-proportioned lovemaking-couples and nymphets in spectacularly imaginative positions. And they're more than 1000 years old.
On the other side Varanasi is a divine city situated at bank of holy river Ganges and approximately in the centre of the top fragment of India. This city is the holiest and one of the best ever populated cities in the world. Varanasi Ghats are the main attraction of all that goes on Varanasi. In these ghats, people take ritual baths in the chilled and fresh mornings and in evenings they worship their gods, present flowers. Also people use to clean their clothes, brush their teeth, paddle around on rowing boats and burn their dead on these ghats.
